Water Park Takes A Bow In New Radio Play

Cotswold Water Park is playing a leading role in a new play coming soon to Corinium Radio.

The new radio play is called “Something Purple” and has been written by Stephen Connolly in his role as Dialect/Lake 32 resident writer for January 2021.

Unable to get actors to the lake, he collaborated with Cirencester Theatre Company to record a piece over Zoom about two people unable to get to the lake due to lockdown.

New writer development platform Dialect and Waterland Lake 32 have teamed up to support four digital writing residencies in 2021.

The residency offers an exciting opportunity for talented writers living in Gloucestershire and Wiltshire to spend time and creative energy at the heart of the Cotswold Water Park.

Transmission in on Wednesday 24th February at 8.30pm and it’s repeated on Thursday 25th February at 4.30pm and Saturday 27th February at 11.30am.
