Trees Will Help Town Achieve Green Future

A partnership with local Rotary members is helping Cheltenham meet its carbon neutral goal.

The town’s efforts to tackle the climate emergency are being supported by Cheltenham’s  Rotarians, who are planting 100 trees in 2021 to mark their centenary.

The borough council has declared a climate emergency and has an ambitious target of becoming a carbon neutral town by 2030.

Three planting will form one strand of the work needed to achieve this.
