Please Help Parish Church To Keep On “Sparkling”

Can you help add the sparkle to a “Jewel” of the Cotswolds?

Cirencester Parish Church is in desperate need of volunteer stewards to introduce visitors to a building boasting over 400 years of history.

The church has launched an appeal for help as it prepares to fully open on June 21st.

In order to open the doors from 10am-5pm each day Monday to Saturday it relies heavily upon a wonderful team of volunteers who give their time as stewards.

The role is said to be vital in welcoming visitors and worshipers to the church.

Cirencester Parish Church is undoubtedly one of the most impressive churches in Gloucestershire.

It is the largest parish church in the diocese and is so impressive among local church buildings that many refer to it as the “Jewel” of the Cotswolds.

The building oozes history and cultural developments over 400 years. It also boasts a wonderful choral tradition and is a place for good liturgy.

A statement from the church said, “We want to share all of this with our visitors and residents, which is why we need your support.”
