New spring menu at The New Inn

The New Inn by Baz & Fred is welcoming in the spring with a delicious new menu.

Located in the Cotswold village of Coln St Aldwyns, the venue is a 16th-century inn with a rustic yet stylish interior.

Highlights from the new menu include hispi cabbage with shrimp butter, beef brisket tacos with avocado, crema and tomato and smoked beef short rib braised in local DEYA Brewing Company beer and served with crushed celeriac, salt-baked carrots and horseradish cream.

Guests can also tuck into one of Baz & Fred’s renowned burgers such as the Big Shack (a classic beef patty with smoked cheese, house-cured bacon, lettuce, tomato, picked red onion, ketchup and bacon mayonnaise), the Shroom & Boom (a crispy garlic portobello mushroom with celeriac remoulade and truffle and parmesan mayo) and the Chick-Inn Burger (fried chicken with crispy chicken skin, lettuce, picked cucumber, celeriac remoulade and smoky mayonnaise).

For a sweet treat, diners can additionally enjoy a selection of puddings from affogato espresso served with Cotswolds cream to warm chocolate Guinness cake with tahini-roasted white chocolate and Cotswold ice cream.

In the warmer months, guests can make use of The New Inn’s outdoor terrace and bask in the beauty of the Cotswolds while enjoying food and local beers.
