New Cycle Link Planned For Gloucestershire

Ambitious green travel links between Gloucester and Cheltenham are being planned.

Gloucestershire County Council has unveiled new designs for a cycleway between the two centres on the B4063.

And local folk are being invited to give their feedback.

The county council says the new cycleway will be accessible to all and improve health and wellbeing in the community, while reducing Gloucestershire’s carbon emissions.

The scheme is the key to unlocking green transport for those commuting between the two urban areas and will provide a safe continuous route for thousands of cyclists.

The council has launched a survey so local people can give feedback on the new plans and your thoughts will be used to help shape the final design.

The survey is available online until 10th March and can be found at http://www.gloucestershire.gov.uk/B4063.
