An Historic Project At Town’s Parish Church

Corinium Radio’s Exploring History show this month highlights an ambitious project being carried out at Cirencester’s parish church.

It goes by the name of  “Project Blackjack” which involves the replacement of two missing statues on the town centre church.

Tony Coleman interviews Cirencester Civic Society chairman and chairman of the project John Tiffney to get an insight into exactly what’s involved.

He also talks to Rodney Munday, the artist involved in this exciting project.

You can bring yourself bang up to date by listening to the show, which goes out on Saturday 28th November at 11am.

It will also be available on our listen again service.
