Cotswold Flags Lowered As Mark Of Respect

Tributes to Prince Philip have been flooding in following the announcement of his death.

Here in the Cotswolds the Union Flag is flying at half-mast as a mark of respect.

Councillor Nigel Robbins, chair of Cotswold District Council, said, “It is with great sadness that we have learned of the death of His Royal Highness Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

“Our thoughts go to the Royal Family during this challenging time and on behalf of Cotswold District we would like to offer our deepest sympathies.

“As a mark of respect, we will be flying the Union Flag at half-mast at our Trinity Road offices and arrangements are also being made at the Moreton Area Centre.”
