Chance to see just what’s in store at museum

There’s lots in store at Cirencester’s Corinium Museum.

An opportunity to discover the museum’s stores is on offer this week.

Visitors can get an inside view of the stores, based at the Old Prison site in Northleach, on Wednesday 4th August.

There is no shortage of items of interest, including scythes, hoovers and pottery from all ages.

And don’t forget Roman mosaics, carved column plinths and stone coffins!

Plus, there’s much more besides…

The museum says that after a tour of the store the focus will be on a few fascinating things that they’ve pulled out of the boxes or off their shelves.

The store, they say, is full of surprises.

Visit the museum’s website for more details.
