Sheer Isolation – Jonathan Dean (Innox Mills) (10/10/21)

On Sheer Isolation this week we’re joined by property developer, Jonathan Dean. He owns the Innox Mills in Trowbridge – a former sausage factory which is currently a derelict site that sits between the town centre and the train station. He tells us his ambition to bring a ‘little piece of Camden’ to Wiltshire by including in his redevelopment plans dedicated studios and workshop spaces for local artists, and hopes to include new venues to promote the area’s music scene.

Our tunes this week are courtesy of Devon duo, Sound of the Sirens, and Jonathan’s choice is a Wiltshire based songwriter, Ben Borrill, who recently performed at the Innox Mill market. In news, we congratulate Wiltshire supergroup, The Lost Trades, on reaching the Top 40 of the UK Folk Chart, and we send our best wishes to last week’s guest, Alan Pettifer, who was taken ill shortly after talking to us.
